Professor Rylan Lizares
Gracie Jiu-Jitsu black belt, Professor Rylan Lizares is the founder of Gracie Technics and currently runs the main academy in Honolulu, Hawaii. Rylan received his black belt directly from Master Pedro Sauer and has over 20 years of Jiu-Jitsu, grappling and wrestling experience.
Rylan runs various martial arts programs, including adults, womens and kids bjj classes, combat fitness, kickboxing and MMA. He also actively competes and holds numerous state, local and national titles. Rylan also hosts and trains with top Jiu-Jitsu athletes and instructors from the US and Brazil.

- 1986 – Tecnico de Jiu-Jitsu. This is a special certificate given in recognition of superior technical mastery of the art of jiu-jitsu, given to only a handful of students by Helio Gracie.
